Visa-free entry to the Russian Federation is available to citizens of 60–70 countries (the data is constantly updated) for the purposes:

RuID

Visa-free entry into Russia process:

1Complete a digital profile in the RuID app.
2Notify authorities of their visit via the RuID app no earlier than 90 days and no later than 72 hours before entry.

What is a digital profile?

It is an electronic form that will be:

Created automatically upon crossing the border, or
Filled out in advance in the RuID app.

What you can do with RuID profile:

Report your trip;
Arrange medical insurance;
Access government services in the Russian Federation.

Who is exempt from these changes?

Children under 6 years of age;
Diplomats and employees of international organizations;
Holders of official passports.
